First, I'm T-Shaped.
What does that mean? Although I trained as a lawyer and spent 20 years driving sales and strategy in consumer-facing internet, I’ve driven innovation as a board director across three industries: Insurance, Staffing, and B2B SaaS.
I can go wide and deep. And, like any good Silicon Valley executive, I am insanely, relentlessly, aggressively curious.
Second, I practice Ubuntu.
No, not voodoo! Ubuntu is an African concept that means “I am because we are”. I enjoy creating opportunities for others, whether helping people get on boards or helping CEOs build their businesses.
My personal objective is to count assists ... not points scored.
Finally, I’m WYSIWYG
What you see is what you get. When you are aligned from the inside out, when you try to practice what you preach, people listen.
